Electric-fireplace.co.uk was originally established in Aalborg, Denmark, in 2010 by brothers Casper W. Lanng and Christoffer L. Mortensen. The business began as an online webshop, gradually expanding its reach.
Operations now span 14 different countries, offering a diverse selection of electric fireplaces. The first showroom opened in Aalborg in 2018, followed by a move to larger premises in 2021 to accommodate an office, warehouse, and one of Denmark's most extensive fireplace showrooms. Expansion continued with a new showroom on Valby Langgade in Copenhagen in 2020. To meet growing demand, a presence was established in Greenwich, London, with a showroom opening in the fall of 2022. Each showroom showcases a wide selection of fireplaces, including bioethanol, electric, and water vapour models.
